In this article, we will cover the different records that are created when someone submits their subscription preferences using  Subscription form created with ClickDimensions. If you would like to learn how to create a Subscription form with ClickDimensions, please read the following posts:


Posted Subscriptions

When someone submits their Subscription Preferences, a Posted Subscription record is created in your Microsoft CRM environment (much like ClickDimensions forms and surveys). These records are located in Marketing > Email Marketing > Posted Subscriptions.

These records contain the name of the Subscription Page, the associated Lead or Contact, a Campaign (if originally associated with the Subscription Page), and more.

You are also able to view Posted Subscriptions on a Lead or Contact level by scrolling to Posted Subscriptions under the contact’s related menu.

Subscription Preferences

Each Posted Subscription record comes with individual Subscription Preferences records. These records are created for every Subscription List that is listed on your Subscription Page, and they record the specified preference for each list (i.e. In or Out). For example, if you had three Subscription Lists as options,  three Subscription Preferences records will be created. You can view these within each Posted Subscription record,

or on a global level under Marketing > Email Marketing  > Subscription Preferences.

You can also view these records from the Lead/Contact level. They are listed in  Subscription Preferences under the contact’s tab on the navigation bar.

Posted Subscriptions

When someone submits their Subscription Preferences, a Posted Subscription record is created in your Microsoft CRM environment (much like ClickDimensions forms and surveys). These records are located in Marketing > Email Marketing > Posted Subscriptions.

These records contain the name of the Subscription Page, the associated Lead, Contact, a Campaign (if originally associated with the Subscription Page), and more.

and in the Profile page of a Lead/Contact record
