(Legacy) Social Posting: Image Guidelines

NOTE: As of version 8.8 (currently only available to US data center customers at this time — coming soon for EU and AU customers), ClickDimensions has enhanced our Social Marketing feature with new capabilities, outlined in the articles here.  If you have set up a Facebook connector before this release, you will still be able to use this, but we recommend that you disconnect the connector after any scheduled posts have been published, and add the new Facebook connector offerings (as well as other social profiles!), addressed here.  We have partnered with Oktopost for this and are excited to bring you this added social marketing functionality!

Use the ClickDimensions Social Post feature to create and publish professional and engaging social content directly from within your CRM.  Here are some image guidelines to help your posts appear seamlessly with your organization’s social branding.

Facebook Design Recommendations

Facebook has provided some image guidelines to help users create optimal-looking posts.  You can see the full article here.

Here are a few details you should know:

  • Facebook automatically resizes and formats your photos when you upload them to Facebook.
  • Resize your photo to one of the following supported sizes: 720px, 960px or 2048px wide
  • To avoid compression when you upload your cover photo, make sure the file size is less than 100KB.
  • Save your image as a JPEG with an sRGB color profile.
