Running Nurture Programs on Individual Lead and Contact Records

Associating Marketing Lists to Nurture Programs is not the only way to apply the Nurture Program to Leads and Contacts.  You can also do this directly on the Lead and Contact record by selecting a Lead or Contact and choosing Run Nurture from the record options that display when you click the ellipsis icon below the navigation bar. (Be sure to read the article on creating and publishing Nurture Programs in order to become familiar with how the Nurture Program Builder works.)

When the Run Nurture button is clicked, a new window will appear where you can choose which Nurture Program you want to run on the Lead or Contact.  Select the Nurture Program from the list of options and click Run.

Once you select the Nurture Program and click Run, a Nurture Run Confirm Action pop-up will appear.  Click OK to confirm that you want to run the Nurture Program on this prospect.

After clicking OK, you will see a confirmation message telling you that the Nurture is running for the Lead/Contact you selected.  Click OK on that confirmation message.

The Nurture Program will then be applied to the Lead or Contact.

When you open a Lead or Contact record, open its related record sub-menu from the navigation bar and scroll right, you will notice a menu option called Nurture Programs.  Clicking this will give you a list of the Nurture Programs that have been applied to the Lead or Contact.   The list will also indicate the status of the Nurture Program.  That status may be either Running, Cancelled, Completed, Paused or Failed.  From this screen you may Pause, Cancel or Resume the Nurture Program for this specific Lead or Contact.

When you open a Nurture Program record from the CRM Settings area, you will see a menu option titled Nurture Programs in the Nurture Program’s related records sub-menu in the navigation bar.  Clicking on this reveals a list of all Leads and Contacts in the Nurture Program.  The status of each Lead and Contact is also displayed.  The status may be either Running, Cancelled, Completed, Paused or Failed.
